Bill: PSFVP Civil Defence BIll
Details
Submitted by[?]: Pan-Sekowo Freedom Alliance
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2500
Description[?]:
Lets face it, the Civil War has shown that collatoral damage is a major problem in modern warfare. With the threat of WMDs from the USMC, as well as future wars, we feel more steps must be taken to protect the average man on the street from the ravages of warfare, and more civil defence will accomplish this well. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Civil defence is the government's policy on providing shelters to be used in the event of attacks on major cities, mainly nuclear attacks and bombing.
Old value:: The government builds and maintains a network of shelters across the nation.
Current: The government builds and maintains a network of shelters across the nation.
Proposed: No new buildings may be constructed unless they feature provisions for civil defence.

Message | We do not need more restrictive housing codes; the Normand Pluralist Party already takes the necessary measures to help prevent unnecessary problems. The USMC would never dare usual WMD's on Sekowan soil. |

Message | I'm not going to nuke our cities x.x For all you know I just put them under my base to keep those that would from having them. Moderates do not do radical actions. However, we do wish to have the best civil defence available for all citizens, but all builidings may be a bit overkill. We shall wait for more comments. |
