Message | NS - we are not convinced that nationalizing energy would in fact be best for most people. We prefer decentralized energy production, while nationalizing tends to move the other way. As to the matter at hand, what is the point of taxing the sale of basic necessities except to place additional financial burdens on those with the least disposable income. If we must have a sales tax, let it fall on luxuries, not basic food and clothing,. |
