Bill: School Freedom Act II, 2103
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal Imperialist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2104
Description[?]:
As schools are currently private and parents can choose which school to send their children to rather than being forced by the state to send their children to whichever school is closest, we see no need to restrict the freedom of schools to have teacher led prayer, or sing the national anthem. If a parent does not want to send their children to a school that does those things then they may do so. |
Proposals
Article 1

Old value:: Teacher-led prayers in schools are forbidden, except in religious schools.
Current: Teacher-led prayers in schools are forbidden, except in religious schools.
Proposed: The government leaves this decision up to the schools themselves.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
