Bill: let the companies work for us

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Conservative party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2502

Description[?]:

this extreme taxation of our companies have made them flee our country or go bankrupt in great hordes. we have an unprecendented unemployment and it is about time we bring back the companies to do the jop their supposed to do

it is not the job of companies to finance the government, it is their job to make sure that everyone has a job so you can keep the expenses to unemployment down. we need to be competitive with other nations and having an execive tax burden on the companies doesn't help

we suggest lowering it to the 10 % that it was at when our economy where still sound

[ooc]forgot to check if I had enough quota left... I will add the proposal shortly

MessageSince all industry is owned by the state. This hardly matters. Why not increase it to 100%? As I said, all industry is nationalised.

MessageAnd the people endure the cold, the people endure the lack of food and medicine. Do not talk lightly about the people, for it was your measures that driven our economy to the brink of collapse.

MessageYou see, this is what the People dislike about the Establishment. The Establishment blatantly lies about what the People can see with their very own eyes. Lourenne's economy is one of the strongest in the world, thanks to our Communist reforms.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.

Random quote: "Politics: a strife of interests masquerading as a contest of principles. The conduct of public affairs for private advantage." - Ambrose Bierce
