Message | Our religious institutions provide important services to all citizens of Aldegar. Especially the poor. Taxing our religious institutions is tantamount to taxing the needy. There is no reason to hamper the fine work of the many religious excellent institutions across our nation. |

Message | A matter of semantics. The person giving the money may not being paying taxes on it but the religious institutions which are at it's heart charitable are being taxed by the money that is donated to them and which they make through various other means. The net result is those religious institutions are less able to conduct the charity which is at the heart of their religious mission. |
