MessageLet's wait until we are able to asertain the size of our military without conscription. If we do already have a military then another option would be feasible, but if we don't then what are we do to during war?

MessageThen we can always implement new measures once the game engine can handle them. As of now, we see no point in a draft.

MessageAs we pointed out before, this conscription act would only be introduced in the event of war otherwise there is no conscription. We again appeal to all parties, rather than removing the wartime conscription act we would rather there be a change in the law (in bill form at least) to allow either military or civil service during such times of crisis.

MessageWSS!'s idea is best. However, it is not one of the current options. This could always be changed in the future if Wouter adds it.

MessageI agree with WSS!P. This law is difficult because there are limited options. It is either wartime conscription or no conscription. Currently the draft applies to wartime only.

MessageWe will again side with our comrades the CSP and SDLP on this issue. Conscription is repressive and a violation of our personal freedoms. You can be assured of our 'no' vote.

MessageWe would happly support the WSS's idea. As the current proposal is closest then we see no reason to change it and would rather that the current bill's description was ammended to include these options.
