| Insert at the end: 10. The Powers and Duties of the Speaker of the Duma shall be as follows: a.) The Speaker will work alongside the Head of State to ensure order between the Republikas. b.) The Speaker will make sure that all international treaty attempts are heard, meaning that he/she must be in good relations with the Foreign Affairs Minister c.) The Speaker will possess immunity to all charges of crime except those found reason for a No-Confidence vote by the majority in the Duma. d.) If the Speaker is ever impeached by a No-Confidence vote, he/she will lose her powers of immunity. e.) The Speaker and the Deputy Speaker have the power to subject the Head of State or any members of the Cabinet to a subpoena. (AMD. BY LABOUR PARTY): If it is the consent of 3/5 of the Duma, any cabinet member or Head of State is subject to subpoena. f.) The Speaker is Third in line of succession if the Head of State were to become incapable of wielding his authority. i.) The Order of the Line of Succession for the title of Head of State is as follows: A. The Current Head of State B. The Current Head of Government (if A and B are separate officials) C. The Current Speaker of the Duma D. The Current Deputy Speaker of the Duma E. If the power would reach thus far, the Duma shall elect the next four in the line of succession. If those four were to also become incapable, another four would be elected by the Duma in the same pattern until the elections for the Duma and Head of State were held. g.) The Right Lutherans Party will regret ever making this bill when the Strana Strachu a Korupcie uses its creative corruption to win absolute control of Deltaria by using loopholes in this law. |
