Message | Ladies and gentleman of the Knesset, Our court system was created to do justice for the people. But it cannot do justice when we deny people the right to fair and adequate compensation for the damages caused them by negligent medical care. Study after study has shown that "tort reform" does not reduce malpractice insurance premiums. Rather, it shields bad doctors and greedy insurance companies from responsibility. This is wrong! We need to allow people to vindicate their rights in court! (OOC: I'm in the legal business IRL, so what did you expect?) |

Random fact: Moderation will not approve a Cultural Protocol request within the first 48 hours of it being requested. This is in order to give other players a chance to query the proposed changes, if they wish to do so. Moderation may be approached for advice on a proposed change, but any advice proffered should always be understood under the provisio that no final decision will be made until at least 48 hours after the request has been formally submitted for approval. |
Random quote: On 7th February 4281 a group of renowned Metzist experts from all across Terra met in Haldor to form the International Committee for the Estimation of the End Date of Capitalism (ICEEDC). With the assistance of a powerful computer, they calculated that capitalism will terminate Terra-wide on 6th November 4320, and in Dorvik on April 17th 4310. We have no reason whatsoever to believe these very eminent and learned scholars are wrong. They have never been wrong about anything before. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
