Bill: Weak Decentralization Bill (2504)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Normand Pluralist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2505

Description[?]:

Sekowo is too federalized. More issues need to be left to local governments; the different regions of Sekowo have different traditions and values, and these should be respected and encouraged.

Diversity gives us strength.

In addition to the other articles outlined, this law requires local governments to conduct affairs with transparency, and to report to a federal committee on these issues. Failure to uphold minimal safety, health, civil, and environmental standards will result in a revocation of local governance of the relevant issues.

We hope the Pan-Sekowo Family Values Party is happy with this bill.

We also apologize for not leaving the previous bill in discussion longer.
