Bill: Acte de la Diminution des Impôts sur les Sociétés, 2504

Details

Submitted by[?]: Front Nationaliste Royaliste

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2505

Description[?]:

We have had a huge budgetary surplus for several decades under the national budget first constructed by the FNR Ministry of Finance, and even now with the massive increases in public expenditure by the government, we have a relatively large budget surplus. Although we could eliminate the corporate tax altogether and still be near the black, the FNR has proposed only a moderate tax relief for the businesses of Rildanor.

MessageAnd thus a tax haven for investment by foreigners here to suck the economy dry. Contre, absolument contre.

MessageI'm sorry, but clearly you have no received much education in the field of economics. Foreign investment spurs economic growth and should therefore be encouraged. The very notion of how putting more money into the Rildanorian economy will "suck it dry" is hilarious. Besides, we would like to point out that the primary beneficiaries of this will be Rildanorian businesses, who operate in Rildanor. This will relieve the tax pressure that we put on small businesses and will give them more funds to be able to compete with large businesses, but it will also give those economy-driving and job-creating large businesses a break as well. This will make the Rildanorian economy and Rildanorian businesses more competitive in the global. Its win-win-win.

On a separate note, I was under the impression that it was the job of the Left wing to bring in the immigrants and parasitic foreigners. When did this change? Perhaps my colleagues should consider inviting the LO/VF into the government, since they have clearly become conservative.

Message3% is already pretty low and foreign investments are already encouraged as a result. Droves of companies will not flock to Rildanor just because we took 2% off the corporate tax.

MessagePerhaps not, but it will provide an extra boost for domestic companies as well. I was simply pointing out that the LO's argument against this Act is simply idiotic.

MessageI would doubt that the PM, and the majority of the Senat that has just voted for restrictions on foreign investment, would agree with your argument on foreign money, mon cher collegue.

As for the "foreigners" bit, we merely point out the hypocrisy of the FNR. Your party condemns "parastic foreigners" on the one hand, and begs and scrapes for their money on the other -- which just goes to show the FNR can be bought by foreign money. Lutte Ouvriere has never been an internationalist party; for us, Rildanor comes first. That is why we have proposed and passed a series of Rildanor-first measures that strengthen the position of the French language and culture.
