Bill: OOC: Agreement on Vacation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti Communiste de Rildanor
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2511
Description[?]:
As Christmas approaches, many parties may wish to take a short break from Particracy. That includes a break from proposing bills, maintaining positions, and forging compromises on legislation. We think that vacation is well deserved. Therefore, we propose a moratorium on all new bills and legislation until after January 1st (New Year's Day) to allow all parties some downtime. Essentially, we'd all enter into a gentleman's OOC agreement to stop putting new bills/manifestos/treaties to vote. This will be ineffective unless everyone agrees, but we strongly urge all parties to support this since several parties will be relatively inactive for the next two weeks. Do remember to log on at least twice though during this time so that your party doesn't get inactivated by the mods! |

Message | So, basically, we can still propose and debate new and existing bills, we just cannot put them to a vote? I agree, its only fair. |

Message | Some of us have much more time now that it's vacation. ;) However, i'm willing to delay the flood of nasty "death to the King" bills I'd planned for after the election. If the left wins, though, I think we're entitled to form a new government. That too is only fair. |

Message | For those that have more time maybe they could still abide by this but if they have to propose small bills rather then large ones with numerous articles. |

Message | OOC: I'm still currently in Florida so I'm not able to be active. This is a great idea, perhaps only until the new year begins. |

Message | Happy new year all around -- how long do we want to keep this in place? |

Message | I think we can put this to a vote (just to put it into the official record - as a reminder of the triumph of OOC friendliness). And under the stipulations of the original agreement the new year means we can propose new bills. |
