MessageWe'll oppose. This is stupid. Illegal immigrants are breaking the law and therefor, need to be thrown out of our country.

MessageRightist party, here is our legislation on refugees:

"All refugees are welcome, regardless of their reason, and given aid in integrating them into the country."

Do you not see anything wrong with our lax attitude toward refugees and at the same time a very aggressive apporoach to illegals?

Messageyes we do. They should not be given any aide and they deserve to be thrown in jail and expelled for breaking the law. We have no problem with them coming legally but illegally? No. They deserved to be expelled.

as long as any gov, including ours, is benefiting economically from the illegal workers it is hypocritical to blame the illegals for their immigration status.

MessageWeare more worried about illegals than we are our own people. The stance is we actively search houses, ones that hold the citizens of our country. That seems a bitt oppressive to me. And obviously there is something about this country that people like so they want to be a part of it. We are not taking the stance of carte blanche on immigration, we are just trying to give an opportunity to people who want to live here.

MessageNo you just want to put the lawbreakers in integration centers. That tells me you will be encouraging others to come here illegally.

MessageIf that was the way I wanted this law to go, I wouldn't beat around the bush. I would have took the stance of no limits on immigration.

Messagewhy not go with the alternate compromise. the govt does not actively search but deports those found to be illegally here?

the problem is that businesses dont want to give up cheap & local labor, but others complain that they cant find decent jobs as citizens. there should be heavy fines issued to those harboring illegal aliens. we dont know if we can support a bill which would assist in the breaking of our immigration laws.....

MessageThe compromise may be acceptable though we prefer that we search and expell but I am sure I can get the party behind said compromise.

MessageMy whole issue was that we are too aggressive on the illegals, and that also places part of that aggression on our citizens. So a compromise is within my limits

Message*****A CHANGE IN THE PROPOSAL HAS BEEN MADE*****

This is politics. You might not be able to get exactly what you want, but two sides meet in the middle and make a compromise.

MessageThe bill shouldn't have been changed. It had the support of our party, and the GLDS, so it would've passed. This bill is now too watered down, and while a slight improvement, it could be better.

MessageIndeed. If you count the votes and you see you have enough support there's no need to water it down.

better than the current law by a fraction, but the only fair laws are the two alternatives dealing with integration.
