Message | We'll oppose this 100% and yes it does ban it JDW. Your own bill states and I quote it: "ALL ACTIVITIES RELATED TO PRODUCTION, SELLING OR RESEARCHING OF GM CROPS ARE BANNED" According to this, yes it is banned. |

Message | we lean towards opposing. we would prefer to allow researching while banning the production and selling to mass market. this would allow for scientific research which could turn up a product which isnt harmful, etc. such as are done with pharmaceutical drugs. |

Message | this party cannot believe the Alice in Wonderland approach of the parties who find no possible harm in GMO's in their food. if they are so certain they can withstand scientific scrutiny, would they favor labelling so the consumer can decide for themselves. unfortunately that is a moot point since that is not one of the options the game allows. hence it boils down to "trust us, we are the gov." yeah, right. |

Message | This isn't about labelling at all. Labelling is a separate issue, which is decided by a separate law. Pursuant to a bill introduced by the NUA in 2464, and extended in 2492, the law of Tukarali requires all manufacturers to list genetically modified ingredients in their products. Perhaps the party proposing this bill should look into the law before trying to change it to the detriment of all our citizens. |

Message | We would have liked a compromise around: "Production and selling of GM crops is banned. Research is allowed." |
