| * HRH The Duke of Youk, Captain-General of all the armies and forces raised in this Holy Empire and Secretary of State for Foreign and Colonial Affairs, rises to speak: Mr Speaker, I'm afraid to say that while our armies and navies have been fighting overseas a greater threat has appeared on our very border. A Godless horde, worse than the heathen barbarians we eradicated in Agathion, runs amock in the United Kingdom to our west: an Athiest Communist Red Army, half a million men strong! To make matters worse: these scum have already violated our borders by pursuing their enemies into Yodukan. I ask this Imperial Diet's permission to move the Crusader Legions, currently based in the Orange Presbytery in and around Fort William, into Yodukan to defend the border with the UK. At the same time the South Ocean fleet should sail north from New Jerusalem and issue an ultimatum to these Godless savages to guarantee the positions of the Monarchy and the Church. Who is with me? * All members from the Bible & Crown Defenders stand, some in the uniform of HM Forces, some retired but wearing medals from the Crusades, others in paramilitary dress and finally a few in the dress of clergymen. |
