Message | Interesting indeed. |
Date | 16:15:05, September 02, 2005 CET | From | Adam Smith Party | To | Debating the Mixed Cabinet Proposal of June 2104 |
Message | We would prefer not to provide the education ministry to a party that thinks that the government should fund single issue schools. We would willing trade the Foreign minister seat for the education seat and then we could support this. |

Message | We understand that the previous three cabinets have had as their main purpose the promotion of unfettered capitalism. In government, we would make it our purpose to further promote the green business sector, the most innovative and inventive sector of the economy, as part of a programme of sustainable economic growth for Lodamun. Driven by a zero corporate tax and sensible environmental protections, Lodamun would quickly become a world leader in the fast-growing field of green business, pointing the way for other nations towards real progress. The Lodamun Advantage could make our beloved federation the bright centre of a new future for Terra. |

Message | Capitalism is an enemy of the planet as well as the people. However, we're not surprised to find the Greens once again sucking up to the powermongers, theirs has always been a colour generated by mixing the blue tint of their complexion with the yellow of their spine. |

Message | Zebedee Tungak took a small pile of sticks, placed them on his desk, and added some stones. He arranged them in the shape of a schoolhouse, sat back and smiled beatifically. It had been an interesting debate, although he had no illusions that anyone on the government side of the Citizens Assembly had any real intention of letting him become Prime Minister. He eyed the speaker for the Peepul's ample frame, noticing how the man's quivering outrage made his blubber wobble. That would be the right place to aim a harpoon. If only they were on the ice floes of Tungak's birthplace, far to the north. |

Message | Watching this Tungak character fiddle while Rome burned, Holsten Pils tried to settle himself in his seat. He was panting and flushed from his passionate denouncement of the sandal-wearing, knit-your-own-spaghetti squad who'd sell their grandmother to the devil if it would save a few baby seals. Wafting himself with his order papers he tried to breathe steadily to slow his pounding heart. If he could scrape together enough money for the thyroid therapy, he'd be able to carry on working a few more years and maybe pay for his daughter to study marine biology at university. |

Message | ((Sorry I have had very limited internet for a few days. Car troubles and family visiting has gotten in the way. I never intended to leave this in debate for so long. While I agree with the ASP's statement, I dont want to start this one over, and the existence of charter schools isnt the domain of the minister. I think that education will be a good post, in that we agree that education is better for the environment than regulation. If the ASP wants to propose a GA shift to the foreign ministry, we would support it, but for now let's just see if this will pass.)) |
Date | 20:39:40, September 06, 2005 CET | From | Adam Smith Party | To | Debating the Mixed Cabinet Proposal of June 2104 |
Message | Schools of all types are the domain of the minister for education. Thus we can not suport what is otherwise an interesting proposal. We will abstain. |
Date | 20:45:23, September 06, 2005 CET | From | Tuesday Is Coming | To | Debating the Mixed Cabinet Proposal of June 2104 |
Message | We apologize. It is our belief that the GA will of course do only what is permitted to the education minister by law, and that they will not forgo reading, history, math, etc. in favor of environmental education. |

Message | Also notable is the token inclusion of the PCL as defense. |
Date | 02:55:00, September 07, 2005 CET | From | Lodamun Centre-Left Coalition | To | Debating the Mixed Cabinet Proposal of June 2104 |
Message | The PCL will hold off on a vote for now until we can confer with the GA. |
