MessageWe think the national anthem could use changing, as well. What is the significance of the current anthem?

MessageWell, essentially nothing.

It's a poem from the H.P. Lovecraft book 'The King is Yellow'.

AUP changed it along time back before any of us, when he was the only party.

MessageThe Internationale is by definition an international song, not really one meant to be a national anthem.

MessageIt's also hideously politically biased. A more neutral anthem would be preferred.

MessageI don't suppose anyone is actually talented enough to make an original one that's good?

If not I can make one from some altered lyrics of a song that the vast majority of people will have never heard.

MessageI could actually probably do it, but it wouldn't be worth the effort unless people would support it.

What kinds of things would we like to see in the anthem, and what kinds of things would people definitely not like to see?

MessageReligious references would be entirely unacceptable.

MessageAs SCP said, no religious things, no reference to socioeconomics (capitalism, socialism or Communism), not dreery and depressing sounding like the current one is.

Perhaps, with these basics you could write one out, and we could all collectively edit and decide on a final version.

MessageI think we should focus on just Sekowo, not its religion/race/wahtever.
