Bill: Concealed Weapons Ordinance
Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2509
Description[?]:
Centre strongly supports the right of every individual to own and carry a weapon if they choose for self defense. They should also not have to display this weapon if they feel that it might be alarming to others. In this vein, Centre would like to propose a licensing program to allow law abiding citizens the ability to conceal legal weapons on their person. This licensing will keep those mental unfit to carry weapons and those with weapons seen as unsuitable for self defense from hiding weapons in public. This will also allow law enforcement to maintain so semblance of order in public venues as weapons carriers will be required to have their license on them therefore speeding up security checks. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Weapon concealment.
Old value:: Where weapons are carried, this must be done openly.
Current: Any legal weapon may be concealed when carried.
Proposed: People must first obtain a permit in order to carry concealed weapons.
