Bill: GDP Bill 2508/1: Personal Choice
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kirlawan Popular Front
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2509
Description[?]:
Voluntary Euthanasia is far too difficult to obtain. For people with chronic and fatal conditions, it is unfair for them to have the legal process take a long time deliberating over a decision that the individual should be primarily responsible for. We would, of course, include in the detail of such a bill measures to reduce the risk of abuse - the consent must be independently notarised and the doctor cannot be a beneficiary in any way. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The right to euthanasia.
Old value:: Euthanasia is only allowed with consent from the patient and a court order.
Current: Euthanasia is only allowed with consent from the patient and a court order.
Proposed: Euthanasia is allowed with consent from the patient and the treating doctor.

Random fact: "Game mechanics comes first." For example, if a currently-enforced bill sets out one law, then a player cannot claim the government has set out a contradictory law. |
