| Lodamun's profitable recycling system shall be re-established immediately on the passage of this bill, and the recently-abolished recycling depots put back into operation. This shoudl prove a net benefit to the Lodamun taxpayer. The re-established recycling system shall be named in honour of Edom November, the first President-Councillor of Lodamun, renowned for his conservative economics and conservationist policies on the environment. |

The only reason we changed it to voluntary was in the hopes that it might meet with Conservative approval, since we already knew ASP & TIC would vote against whether we made it mandatory or voluntary. We are unclear as to your policy on the environment: is it conservationist, in which case we can continue making environmental proposals, or is it a do-nothing policy like the "libertarians"? We are attempting to find comon ground with your party in keeping with your offer of including Greens in your cabinet, but lack sufficient information on what your policies actually are on the environment. |

| Message | GA, I was willing to support a shift earlier to compulsory funding for voluntary recycling facilities. ASP refused to support it, so we changed the bill to a full shift to "no policy". Usually we will follow the ASP on things where it is prudent and aligned with our policies. I dont know if this was before your time in Lodamun, but this debate happened during the environmental deregulation of the 80s. |
