Message | Our current tax system takes in MASSIVE SURPLUSES, which for a government and a public entity is UNACCEPTABLE. This system puts us closer in line with our current spending (which is also massively large and should be curtailed, see our other bill). Upon spending cuts that must be taken in the near future, these tax rates may one again be cut. |

Message | You realise that your figures do not add up? This is why the Classical Reform Party are not in Government Assemblymen. The estimated revenue of circa. 16 billion Ruta would not meet the current spending levels nor the slashed spending levels of 23.75 billion Ruta. Do the Classical Reformists want to put the government into debt? |

Message | No, look at the whole of the budget—you're forgetting income from corporate taxes and from sales taxes. The new budget would simply eliminate the surplus. |

Message | Freedom Party Press Release! James Keane, Finance Spokesman for the Freedom Party, has been fired from that position. Trent Reznor, leader of the Freedom Party, has announced that the gross miscalculation and embarrassment caused by Keane in a recent Assembly debate was unacceptable and made his position untenable. In his place, Mr Reznor has appointed Victoria Knight, former Trade and Industry spokesman, to the position of Spokesman for Finance. |
