Message | This would make any civilian aspect of live (civilian hospitals, ordinary housing blocks,..) into military targets. |

Message | Actually GLDS, that is whole inaccurate. Even in Real Life that's a bogus argument to make. |

Message | International law dictates armies have to differentiate between ordinary civilians and military personnel, and clearly states they cannot attack civilian targets. But if every adult is considered to be in the army, the enemy can easily justify the bombardment of housing blocks they are fighting disguised guerilla's. |

Message | Terms served in the military do not automatically make a society entirely comprised of soldiers. It is more of a reservist viewpoint. The attacker is permitted to make a forward movement on the "active" military, not all potential. And we do not overtly support covert ops in our constitution, nor give our central intelligence free reign to perform such deeds, thus stripping most of the argument. |

Message | meh, I realised from the start my argument was somewhat flawed, but we'ld still prefer a somewhat smaller but more professional army of motivated people who chose to be part of the military, than drafted reservists. Quality over quantity. |
