"Telamon has a rich culture grown out of nature. We must be responsible in protecting the flora and fauna, when possible, and also in protecting the people of Telamon. This is why dangerous wild animals, if this legislation passes, will not be acceptable pets. People must be saved from themselves from time to time and this is one of those time. If someone has a polar bear that is not dangerous they certainly keep it as a pet. Sadly, most polar bears are protective of their habitat and the safest way for people to interact with them, and other dangerous wild animals, is through zoological institutions that will properly care for endangered and wild animals. This keeps the animals safe from people and people safe from the animals. It is a win-win situation and one that preserves our nation's great culture for future generations." |
