Status[?]: defeated

Voting deadline: November 2511
Description[?]:
A reform to justice laws. Article 1 We do not believe expelling those who come to our country to lead a better life is ethical, therefore we propose that instead of expelling them we put them into integration centers so that they can than learn English or one of our other official languages if they don't know one, get any education needed and become citizens of Sekowo. Article 2 All people deserve a fair and equal trial, regardless of if they can afford it or not. Secondly by paying for everyones lawyers we can make sure that rich lawyers who will exploit things simply to get money will not be able to essentially screw up the legal process. |

Message | The arguments for article 2 make no sense. People have a fair and equal trial if those who can't afford a defence have there's paid for by the state. Under your proposal, Bill Gates could hire a huge law firm to defend him and have it paid for by the state. Ridiculous. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
