Message | Articles 2 and 3 are absurd. |
Date | 20:53:21, January 05, 2008 CET | From | Option Citoyenne | To | Debating the Eglises pour les citoyens |
Message | Why? Article 2 taxes all income by corporate bodies, including religious bodies. That's simple fairness. Article 3 ensures that the government can prevent sects from spreading misinformation. It's much like the end of the law "encouraging" the filth brought by foreign missionaries. |

Message | All of these articles are repugnant, but in particular Articles 2 and 3. Religious bodies should not be taxed, but this bill is proposing something far more idiotic: that even charitable projects should be taxed. |

Message | It says "all religious income shall be taxed." Charities not spreading superstition remain tax-free. |

Message | Its a pity this travesty wont pass. I'm sure my fellow ministers would've thoroughly enjoyed appointing Moslem ministers of religion that preach about Jesus Christ being the Saviour of the World and the lying abomination that is the Koran. |
