Message | Article II is a sensible adjustment of corporate taxation levels to meet Aloria's budgetary needs in a manner that is fiscally responsible and fair. |

Message | http://www.infoplease.com/cig/economics/government-share-economy.html This is the URL for an article advocating a decrease in U.S. federal spending. A couple of points worth noting: 1) The U.S. is a fiscally conservative nation. Our national government spending as percentage of GDP is pretty low. 2) U.S. federal spending, according to this article, accounts for %19 of GDP. %35 of that is for military spending. 3) Estimating %35 to 1/3, or %33, that means about %6 of U.S. federal spending, expressed as percentage of GDP, is for defense. 4) Maybe you think the U.S. spends too much on defense. Fine. How much should a nation spend for defense? How much should the U.S. cut its military spending? A tenth? A quarter? A third? Let's go bonkers, and slash U.S. defense spending by HALF. The U.S. would STILL be spending %3 of its GDP on defense alone! 5) Aloria's TOTAL government spending is 1.2% of GDP. That's tiny. That's too small. Even if Aloria spent nothing for the welfare of its citizens, and spent only for defense, its spending is still inadequate to meet its needs. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow official national flags of real-life nations or flags which are very prominent and recognisable (eg. the flags of the European Union, the United Nations, Nazi Germany, the Soviet Union or the Confederate States of America). |
