MessageThe NA is *so* commited on Human rights that it sacrifices those of us that enjoy same sex relationships.

((OOC - quite frankly, even the OOC explination is offensive! ))

MessageThe armed forces are Cildanias defense against trouble in times ahead and natures blights against us, there is no place in the military for personal relationships which place devotion to a single person over devotion to the service, nor is it a place illicit encounters of a less binding nature. Winston Glamorgan (2424-2511) penned this proposed article for the CNP following a series of scandals within the forces and was one of the key policies of New Action upon its founding. Although times have changed many New Action senators believes it holds greater importance in today's more morally liberated society than it did at its creation others see it as a fitting tribute to the man who fought for the moral reconstruction of our nation for fifty-three years.
While this bill is not in line with New Action policies it gained a majority vote in favour of its introduction to the Senate within New Action.

Anyone can still join the armed forces it just that with a separation of those who stand to distract each other the Glamorgan Act hopes to bring a more efficient and morally upright Armed Force.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically

Random quote: "[The Constitution preserves] the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation...[where] the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms." - James Madison
