Description[?]:

1. An act to allow euthanasia to be applied to persons with terminal illnesses that request it, conditional on having approval and assurance from qualified medical staff that the condition is terminal.

2. This act shall not be interpreted as allowing compulsory euthanasia in any fashion.

3. This act shall not be interpreted as allowing next of kin to authorise euthanasia where the patient is incoherent or otherwise unable to communicate, unless that patient has made a legal undertaking while mentally competent deferring such responsibility to the next of kin under such circumstances.

4. Doctors or other medical practitioners who find euthanasia morally unjustified shall not be forced or compelled to administer or be involved with any such procedure.
