Message | We are saddened that you are displeased by our proposal, however we were elected to the office of Maharaja to bring more freedom to the people. There is both a cost and a reward to limiting government and returning liberties to the people. The cost is you are more responsiable for your own life and well being. This cost will be more sorely fealt at first, however the rewards are greatly to be desired. The money no longer used by the government can be returned to the people in the form of tax returns, Let the people spend thier own money on themselfs. We as a government will never be as wise with the peoples money as they will be. Additionaly if the cuts are too sever they can be quickly changed as needed to cover neccessary costs. |

Message | The NCPM will not support any buget that feels the need to cut 10,000,000,000 MCR from the Health and Social Services budget. A smaller cut, with a matching cut in areas such as, say, defence, which would be less necessary if we had a skilled diplomatic corps, which is unlikely if we keep cutting spending in foreign affairs. |

Message | I stand by the Maharaja in his bold new vision for Malivia. The free market should prove more efficient in terms of maximizing healthcare expenditures. If the market surprisingly fails us, then we will, of course, propose restoring previous funding levels later on. For now, though, the government shall stand with the Maharaja in implementing this. -Joseph Hunter, Ouparath |
