MessageA civil war?

Since when has open economic borders EVER collapses an economy

(OOC: look at Ireland in the real world)

We must admit, considering the APP considers you an enemy, and we alone could crush your pathetic party militia, we are not exactly worried by threats of civil war.

This bill violates nothing in the treaty of terina, and with the saftey net of that treaty in place even if your idiotic economic collapse theory was true, our citizens would still be protected.

Go study some economics, and stop trying to be scary.

MessageNow now USMC, you now he can back this up with evidence.

Look in the real world at say um..South Korea, remember how their economy opened up its borders, got super rich then.......oh wait, no civil war there.

Sorry maybe that was a bad example, lets go with Ireland, opened up its borders, got rich and....oh wait no civil war in Ireland either.

Sory sory I'm bad at this example thing

NO WAIT, I've got it!!!!!

Remember Germany and Japan post 1945? Both of them underwent massive changes to their economys, and then...oh wait, no civil war there either....

It's ok theres always New Zealand, which became one of the least regulated nations on earth in the 1980's a huge change to it's economy.

and who could forget the great New Zealand Civil war of the 1990's.......

Oh k, I'm lying.

MessageIf a country imposes tarrifs on us, than we should impose tarrifs on them.
Completely unregulated free trade is a bad idea.

MessageBy opening up our borders, we make ourselves a more attractive trading partner, meanign we won't need to trade with those that do impose tarrifs on us.

MessageWe would prefer not to have trade with certain countries though, so we don't like the idea of total free trade with everyone.
