Bill: Call for early elections, March 2513

Details

Submitted by[?]: Démocrates de la Gauche

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: November 2513

Description[?]:

We, the Démocrates de la Gauche, call for early elections as soon as we can reach a consensus. This is to end the current gridlock of the government in place. I assume the most of the right will vote yes for the sake of keeping their cabinet spots, but for the sake of forming a new government we call for a new election to affirm national support in one side of the spectrum.

MessageJust because you couldn't manage to get a lefty coalition for cabinet does not mean early elections are needed.

MessageWe can't get any coalition formed. And I knew you would vote no. What would be better than interests only serving yourself. Another great act and gratuidy of the CUF.

MessageWe intended the current cabinet to be only temporary - we referred to it as a "caretaker" cabinet at the time we voted for it. Therefore, since a new cabinet was not able to be formed after the last election, it would be hypocritical of us not to support new elections at the present time.

We support.

MessageDG: So the fact that you have 39 seats and no cabinet positions has no influence on your decision to propose early elections? What would be better than interests only serving yourself. Another great act and gratuidy of the CUF... er we mean DG.

UCC: We still do not see why you would prefer a new cabinet over this one. Or perhaps you are against the idea of the CUF having cabinet positions?

MessageNo it actually dosen't CUF but we would like to point out that in the past when we have had a large number of seats and cabinet positions we did agree with call for an early election. So yea.. And I think the entire nation except your FMDP wants you out of the country not just the cabinet.
