Bill: Weak Decentralization Bill (2515)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Normand Pluralist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2519

Description[?]:

We believe that Sekowo should be decentralized as much as possible. Local and regional governments are better aware of their own needs and capabilities, as well as how best to address and support the local traditions and heritage of Sekowo's population in their area. We propose further supporting them to this end. In addition, localized government reduces bureacracy and consequently reduces government spending.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life fictional references (eg. Gandalf, Harry Potter, Luke Skywalker).

Random quote: “Their cheap talk of the 'greater good' is a thinly concealed excuse for subordinating the people to the institutionalized violence that is the state.” - Margaret Woodhall, former Dranian politician
