Message | The AAP begs clarification - are you really intending to move coporate taxation from 10% to 75%? Or are we misreading? |

Message | it is not tax in general it is tax on PROFIT and yes i propose 75% as this would give the government a bigger buget to make the lives of the average person better.and it would also keep big business's from being able to contral the working class. |

Message | also at 75% the businesses will make money just not a huge amount that will decrease the value of our currancy. |

Message | Seems like a big jump - you may have some problems pushing such a jump past certain of the parties. To better suit their libertarian sympathies, many of the AAP would prefer to see some different method of dealing with the gross profit margins of certain industries. For example, allowing employess to 'work up' shares in the company, that would equate to a profit-sharing mechanism. OOC: Unfortunately, I do not believe Particracy has ANY mechanism that could deal with such ideas. |

Message | Absolute rubbish, a tax increase like that would destroy industry in this country. Investment would collapse, businesses would not want to locate here, millions of jobs would be lost, and there would be no incentive for individuals to work harder. We are very opposed to this nonsense. |

Message | We applaud the sentiments of this bill but agree with AAP and CPL that 75% is far too high a figure. I would suggest 40% as a compromise. |

Message | 40% would still destroy our reputation amonsgt the business and industrial communities. We want to attract more businesses to locate in Likatonia, not deter them |

Message | no i dont think your party understands, conservative party of likatoni. this is a tax on profit npot on the total income. if you dont know the difference total income is all the money together and profit is the money they make even after all the bills are paid. i will lower to 40% as atleast it is progress. |

Message | Profit is what businesses are there to make. 40% tax on profit will is the 3nd Highest Tax on profits in the world, only two nations exceed this and they both charge 100%. |
Date | 16:56:38, September 05, 2005 CET | From | Friendly Communist's of Likatonia | To | Debating the money to the people |
Message | yes and since im not proposing we take all the money they make and leave them to break even, this means there will still be growth but it will be a steadier and safer growth that ensures inflation doesnt get out of contrall or that businesses make so much money that they can push any one around. |
