| This bill will nationalise private defence industries. If we may quote ourselves, "In view of the enormous sacrifices of life and property demanded of a nation by any war, personal enrichment from war must be regarded as a crime against the nation." All war profits must be ruthlessly confiscated. Furthermore, private manufacture of arms for personal enrichment leaves a large chance that profiteers will sell dangerous, controlled weapons to criminals and terrorists on the black market. |
