Message | Mr Speaker, We fail to see how diverting defence funding away from our power projection forces and into shelters for civilians would actually improve defence? Defence isn't about hiding in a bunker and waiting for the bad guys to come: it's about making everyone so scared of you an attack isn't even a consideration. What is "defense" anyway? I can't seem to find it in the Oalapo Luthorian Dictionary... |

Message | Mr. Speaker, It is our argument that the creation of shelters is to protect the civilian population, a militaristic and social act. We are not saying that this is more important than our ability to annihilate any potential threat (of which we could do), we are merely proposing an addition to our already powerful defensive capabilities. To the Bible and Crown Defenders: we do not apologize for our accent. |
