Curfews should be up the discretion of local governments in the event of emergencies that may include but are not limited to: natural disasters, violent protesting, the collapse of order, rampant gang or other violence violence, and/or national emergency. Curfews protect both large and small businesses, private residences and public buildings in case of these events. While it is up to local governments to make the final decision, the DPUF proposes that a curfew of 10 pm (2200) be suggested as a possible curfew time. Any resident in public places after this time, except those who have been approved, may be subject to dispersement or arrest. |

Message | Let us all hope that the insurance fees and/or hikes are paid for by the parties voting against this when natural disasters lead to the pillaging of local businesses. Maybe Mom & Pop will be forced out of business when they can no longer afford their insurance rates because their local governmetn was able to nip the problem in the bud by declaring a curfew. ... but maybe that is the opposition parties' objectives all along. |

Message | Or maybe this is another attempt by your party to give the government power it neither merits nor needs. |
