Message | Charter schools are an excellent way for certain students to obtain an education in a specific field (for example Science, Math, Social Sciences, Languages, etc...). The PPP does understand the need for the government to assist those who can not afford such an education, and would also like to propose that these people be given aid to attend these schools. |
Date | 09:59:34, September 05, 2005 CET | From | Capitalist-Hawk Party | To | Debating the Davostan Education Act |
Message | The members of the Capitalist-Hawk Party agree with the proposal of this bill. We ultimately feel that education and the service in which it is delievered should ultimately be a matter left up to the free-market. However, this is a good first step to achieving such, as various local governments could allow for competing charter schools, if they so wish. |
Date | 13:42:18, September 05, 2005 CET | From | Patriarchal Party | To | Debating the Davostan Education Act |
Message | My party strongly believes that schools should focus on education and not finance. Teachers should not be worrying about their school attracting the best pupils, they should be able to concentrate on teaching as well as they can. |
Date | 13:02:42, September 06, 2005 CET | From | Circuit Party | To | Debating the Davostan Education Act |
Message | Why leave it up to local governments, just make charter schools legal altogether! |
