With the recent spending and budget compromises, the idea of this bill is to eventually replace income tax revenues with corporate tax revenues. PP will support income tax reductions if A) this bill passes and B) we are unable to raise government spending to the level we believe is adequate. Its a compromise.

Message26% is just too high given our current budget situation and the nature of the corporate tax. It is regressive, double-taxes capital, stifles entrepreneurship and investment, and presents businesses with substantial additional administrative burdens.
