MessageIt's a nice quote, but we'd prefer if "faith" referred to faith in 4 Cs: citizenry, church, country, and crown.

MessageThe forced Christianization of Rildanor was rejected at the last election. This is therefore an anti-democratic step.

MessageOOC: I happen to like the quote, not because it refers to V for Vendetta, but because it works well for Rildanor.

MessageOOC: well that is the first thing people think of when they hear that quote... it shows a lack of origionality. and besides this country has to be one of the most disunified nations in terms of religious prefrence... and it will never achieve any level of unity through faith.

MessageOOC: We're almost completely Orthodox Catholic, with only small minorities of the remaining religions (Protestantism, Judaism, and Islam). Besides, Rildanor has had "Dieu et mon droit" before, along with many other nations (Alduria has it at present, Luthori has had it, etc.). Dieu et mon droit is the English motto and the motto of the British royal family.

MessageOOC: i was refering to the different factions within the Othodox Catholic church, there is a vast amount of disunity within it. The strenght through the king/queen one would make more sense, and it is much more origional. I don't know... I kind of like the current one more.

Message"La foi" can be interpreted to mean almost anything. You can take it to mean Catholicism, Christianity, religion in general, faith in God, faith in one's country, faith in one's King, faith in the traditions of Rildanor, faith in the future of Rildanor. Its open to personal interpretation.

MessageIf "la foi" can be interpreted to mean almost anything then please state it in the bill description. This just makes it easier for future reference.
