Message | We strongly oppose these proposals regarding "homeland security." The federal government should not be invading our private lives, turning away refugees, and making it difficult for foreigners to enter our country. That would be excessive and immoral. We need to respect individual privacy and remain compassionate and welcoming at the same time. The current policies need to stay in place. |

Date | 02:22:59, January 23, 2008 CET | From | Revolutionary Constit'nal United Front | To | Debating the Homeland Security Act of 2520 |
Message | There is nothing immoral about wanting to prevent international criminal activity. The policy we have for refugees allows any criminal to enter our country if he feigns he is a refugee. "Any circumstances" is unacceptable. It is time we stop hiding our head from the reality that there are criminals in this world and a turning-a-blind-eye policy is harming our nation and the world at large. Not every refugee is a poor, wretched soul and it is time we stopped having that assumption officially. |

Message | Change it to "integration aid is given to them," and we will support all three articles. |
