Message | Although we disagree, in that we feel our duties are to Davostanis not foreigners, if a foe knows they will be executed it will make them less likely to surrender and more likely to fight to the death, increasing Davostani casualties. |

Message | SRP Minister Of Justice Rev. Grim the Executioner: Your bill's description does not match what you propose. You say we must protect the lives of foreigners, but the article is about protecting foreign scum who have killed Davostanis or planning to do so. They are a threat to our security and so they must be executed. For as long as they are alive there's a chance they will excape. SRP Minister Of Finance Rev. Blackjack: It's cheaper to kill them then to keep them alive. We shouldn't have to pay to keep them comfortable. SRP Minister Of Defence Rev. Eradicator: To address MNB's point, if our enemy knows we will brutally torture and kill every single one of their men if they attack us. They won't want to fight us in the first place. Saving many Davostanis. |

Message | The SRP representatives put forward good points. The care for foreign POW's should not come at our taxpayers expense. While we continue to take prisoners a system should be put in place to claim from their own government the money spent on caring for them. Additionally, it would be possible for them to fund their capture through forced labour. The threat of torture or execution certainly could help put off all but the most hawkish of foreign regimes, and this must be considered as a deterent. The MNB would call for further debate on this issue so that we can come to a conclusive consensus on the appropriate way to deal with foreign troops. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
