MessageActually yes it is freedom means freedom you and lie curse and do whatever the hell you please with your voice.

Also who determines the truth who can prove god is true does this mean your going to tell christian media sources that they are incorrect and cannot spread their beliefs?

All in all the only thing regulating content is going to do is create another layer of government beaurocracy and waste, just another hole to dump the taxpayers money into instead of doing other important things.

Message"things must be based on fact. be truthful."
But religion isn't based on fact. Its based on faith. Therefore, religion is illegal if this gets passed.

"but, freedom of speech is not freedom to give false information."
Only according to those who have a narrow definition of freedom.

Messagewe are talking about media content.
so, a journalist can say all he wants to say, but he can spread only information that he can demonstrate.
without this bill, a journalist has not the dudy of elaboration on news.
God and faith are not "news": a journalist can talk about God and faith, no problem about it.
But a journalist can't say that Praetor is dead, if Praeror is still alive and kicking

MessageYes media content refers to any form of mass communication though
So religeons couldent advertise without fear of legal retribution.

Also the amount of frivilous lawsuits and governmetn waste that could come from this highly outweight any "good" it could do.

MessageIt is pointless to argue government waste agianst a communist the BPA has made its points vote yes to this if you think Baltusian tax dollars dont have enough meaningless holes in legislation to fill.

Right so its illegal to say something? Sounds like an infringement on freedom of speech to me.

Also sounds disturbingly like what the theocrats tried to do to the men of science in the middle ages.

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.

Random quote: "Thousands of Zardic soldiers were sacrificed so that the Zardic government could gain control of a few buildings and Theodoro could pretend to be Augustus the Great. This is the kind of jingoistic ideology Zardugal would bring to the Security Council. They will throw countless lives away in pursuit of former glory." - Prince Akhaias, former Coburan royal
