Bill: Free Market Food Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Christian Federalist Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2523
Description[?]:
The government spends a lot of taxpayer money regulating the food industry to ensure proper food standards. High food safety quality is a good that is best preserved through the free market. Consumers will decide through this mechanism what they will live with and what they won't. Since we've had government imposed standards for years, consumers will still expect high quality from businesses punishing those that lower standards too much. |

Current: The government introduces, and actively enforces, food standards provisions.
