Bill: Medical Responsibility Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Peoples Socialist Front

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2525

Description[?]:

In regards to the current state of the Dranian heathcare system, we feel several alterations need to be made.

Firstly to improve the overall well-being of the nation the people should recieve free healthcare. This will preserve the strength and unity of our nation into the future.

Secondly, along the same vein, Organ Donation should be compulsory. Religious objections aside, a steady and constant stream of donor organs is essential to running an efficient modern healthcare system. To handle any major objections, a new government agency shall be created in order to review and approve or deny the case on the matters of conviction and religious validity.

We do not really agree with article one, organ donation should not be compulsory but should be encouraged but we are in agreement with article two.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
