Message | I must agree with this, there are many nasty accidents that deserve compensation that could not be compensated for if this passes, eg. paralysis due to malpractice. We support the current format and in our previous billing we capped the compensation so it wouldnt be so much of a problem. |

Message | Noone is forcing you to go through with the operation. You may get paralysed in the operation, but at least you didn't die of whatever you were being operated for. |

Message | You go into an operation on the good faith that the doctor will not be negligent, if a complication arrises then so be it, but if a worker suffers through negligence and then cannot work does he not have the right to claim medical expenses and the compensation for not being able to work again? |

Message | I am afraid I too am opposed to this bill. It is dangerous and could result in helpless patients who have nowhere to turn. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
