Bill: United Countries Alliance

Details

Submitted by[?]: Hutori Hopeace Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2525

Description[?]:

This bill is aimed at forging the Most Serene Republic of Hutori with the United Countries. From this we would gain plenty of comrades in arms, trade, etc. It is a union of good nations with good people, and since such is so for this country, the match is simple.

MessageWe would not support this in it's present form. Much too vague.
Guarantees of national sovereignty would have to be assured
before we ever consider supporting.

MessageWe concur with the NRP. The united country treaty is just an attempt at drawing member nations into a communist super state.

We will vote no on this measure.

MessageWhat do we need them for? Surely while they are busy "co-operationg" we can be focusing on better things for our nation? I also note that the organisation has little international support, therefore the benefits to our people are too small to consider this a good idea.

MessageAnd if everyone would think that it is still too small, it 'd never get bigger now would it? We agree.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.

Random quote: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people and neither do we." - George W. Bush
