Message | Really? Three months isn't long enough for a woman to make a decision. Even if she wasn't aware of it for a whole month, that still leaves two. That's time to figure it out, think about it, and then carry it out if she so chooses. In essence, you're arguing for women to terminate a pregnancy at 8 months & 29 days; by that time, it is indeed a baby (given that it easily be born nearly two months before that time and still grow to be a successful, intelligent human being). We feel that abortion is a right that women have, however, we feel 3 montsh is a long enough time to discover a pregancy and terminate if that is a woman's decision. |

Message | We agree, UCG. We are not actually quite clear on our position on this issue, however as it stands we find the first trimester is still not long enough. |

Message | We don't think the government is in a place to say what is enough time to decide, that should not even be the argument here. What that tries to do is to completely undermine the pro right movement by poking holes and saying that this is enough time, or this is enough time. |

Message | Uhh... this argument about the government not having to be involved is like saying that murder shouldn't be illegal. Governments provide security, rights and equality, and in this case the security of hundreds of babies' lives is worth far more than the convenience of mothers being able to get rid of the other life they're carrying around any time they want to. |

Message | This is far, far more than just making things convenient for mothers. There are hundreds of unwanted children who lead horrible lives because the mother was forced to have them when she wasn't ready. This can be asily remedied. On the other hand, we are talking about human life, and so this issue still remains a hard one. |

Message | And yet you still choose murder and convenience over life. Kanjor is an incredibly stable and prosperous nation. Those babies that are aborted each year would grow up with much support from Kanjor and this government and would be able to lead normal happy lives, even if they were in foster homes or similar institutions. |
