Message | Why do we require forestry operations to do more than their fair share of maintaining the forests? Surely it is enough that they replace the forests they remove? Remember, replacement levels are not just planting one tree for each one cut down. It is the level of planting at which a forest will retain its size and composition. Having a level higher than that will expand forests. |
