Message | Because of the recent income tax reform, we have more revenue to invest in our programs. We have proposed the biggest increases in health care, education, transport/infrastructure, and the environment. Every ministry recieved a boost in funding. This budget will still leave us with over 100,000,000,000 JEL (100 billion) in surplus for us to use in emergencies (military conflicts or natural disasters) or for additional changes in funding. |

Message | We oppose, strongly. These increases in budget are merely raises for fat-cat bureaucrats. |

Message | Local governments have always done well In Jelbania. We have went too far with this centralization. |
Date | 22:18:18, February 01, 2008 CET | From | Centre Démocratique | To | Debating the Budget Proposal of February 2525 |
Message | Nothing new has been centralized and we are not proposing to do that. This budget increases funding for existing programs that have been in place for many years. We are still strong supporters of local government. |
