Details

Submitted by[?]: (NWO) IngSoc Revolutionary League

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2526

Description[?]:

A cult and a religion are too very different things, while religions are responsible and peaceful, seeking only to increase their folk. While we must regard a cult as a religion gone rouge. Anything faith that falls into these categories shall be regarded a cult.

1: If any religion stops promoting itself lawfully, or becomes violent, the government shall, in right of thought and law, regard it a cult.

2: If any religion violates it inherent political naturality, and becomes a front for and/or a funder of any political movement, the government shall, in right of thought and law, regard it a cult. Political parties (example: the union of progressive Ulama) may have religious motivation. Example: a Imam may not tell his flock to vote Ulama because it would violating the neutrality of Islam, but the union of progressive Ulama be a "Islamic" party.

3: New religions that have not yet proven to be civilised shall effectively be on "trial run".

4: Religions which violate human right in their ways, the government shall, in right of thought and law, regard it a cult.

5: Any religion that calls for holy war though violence against another religion or a political movement and/or ideology (example: a holy war against communism), shall be regarded by the government, in right of thought and law, as a cult.

6: Any religion that enforces it's own laws on it's followers violently, shall be regarded by the government, in right of thought and law, as a cult.

7: Religions that are anti-Semitic, shall be regarded by the government shall, in right of thought and law, as a cult

8: Large Religions such as Islam and Christianity shall not be regarded as cults, only cultish sects within them shall be persecuted.

In faithful loyalty to the nation, the Jamahiriya Movement submits this law to the Grand Majelis of the United Majatran Republic of Socialist Al'Badara.
Long may it's freedom live.
