MessageThis treaty is now irrelevant to the modern day Terra. We have fantastic relations with this country and we don't need this paper to say so. The other country has also withdrawn and the bill is over 100 years old.

MessageSir James Vanders, Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs,

After careful concideration, the CMP shall not support the withdraw from this treaty as we feel it inevitable that Wantuni shall re-join us. We must give our neighbours the bennefit of the doubt.

MessageI can understand the reservations about the bill but I would ask the CMP and the FIP to listen to what I am about to say as it may change their minds on this issue. I have contacted the country of Wantani and told them we are not proposing we withdraw due to problems we have with their country but because we want to renew the agreement with a new modern treaty which deals with todays situation. What I would like is the same agreement and the same treaty but updated and modernised and we feel Wantani may want this as well, we are currently involved with discussions with them on this issue. We do still strongly want this treaty in place and that is what we are working towards.

If their are questions please ask.

MessageThe CMP cannot see a logic in withdrawing from one treaty and entering into an identical one.

MessageWhich is exactly why Sir James, that we will not be entering into an identical one, we will be entering into a treaty which renews our political friendship and copes with modern day demands, the political issues facing our country and terra now are quite different to the ones faced by the country over 100 years ago when the treaty was signed. Also, Wantani also do not seem initially keen to remain in the current treaty hence why they have pulled out and if it is the case that they are not keen to remain in this treaty, it is completely pointless that we remain in it however, I can acknowledge why some parties are keen to wait until I announce to the house the results of my discussions with Wantani.

MessageWe are the ones who helped write, create, and successfully pass and establish this treaty. It was done so for meaningful and purposeful causes and served as a keystone in the early days of the young Federal Republic's foreign policy program. To this day it remains a great accomplishment. We will not vote to undo something which has great value to our party and the people of this nation. It represents a historic monument which the people can never forget.

However, we would not expect you to understand as you were not there. Your party did nothing to create it or work on it and seal the Federal Republic's safety, so it wouldn't phase you that you're ridding the nation of something with such great historic importance.

MessageAnd how on earth Senator Byrd Jr, can the nation feel safe with this treaty, when out of the two members who need to agree on this issue- only 1 does. 1 has withdrawn, 1 is left. Not much of a treaty is it? We also would like to remind the rather forgetful Senator of our earlier points that we completely and 100% agree with the point of the treaty and understand its importance and this is why we are withdrawing from this treaty to open a new one, which has all the contents of this treaty in it, plus more modern features which will ensure even more safety for Solentia. And as your party does nothing now for this country, we wouldn't expect you to understand progression, development and long sighted vision for our country and the international community.

MessageAnd also if you wish to create an argument about who has done more to secure Solentian safety it is the people party. We were the party who prevented two wars from occurring in our country, whilst your party sat back and did nothing. We were the party who managed to secure solentian boarders from being disrupted and we ensured that we preserved Nukeya and ensured no other country took this region from us in warfare. We acted on this through discussion and debate and resolution and you may have been around longer than us, but its quality what counts- and we have prevented two wars whilst your party sat back and did nothing, so don't talk to me about who cares about this nation and who works hard for this nation, I do and my party does.

MessageIn view of the lack of agreement here the DLP feels it is more prudent to wait to see the new treaty proposal before disposing of the old treaty. Even an antique treaty has symbolic value that can reduce hostility between nations.

ToDebating the Treaty Withdrawal
MessageThe irrational statements made by the People Party representative continue to corrupt the value in the stringent and professional debate process the Federal Republic continues to implement. The vindictive nature of the People Party continues to draw stricture from the veteran class of politicians who see their essence of debate as detrimental to the accredited legacy which the founders established. It would seem the People Party's voraciously aggressive debate and their omnivorous approach to Solentian politics is pefidious to the bona fide and credible process in which the Federal Independent Party has been renowned for its fidelity.

We find the People Party must be admonished and be given a premonition of what may occur should they continue their corpulent style of debate. We do not want to be seen as credulous in the point that the untenable People Party pertain to the ability of a flexible and reasonable style of debate. Therefore, in an essence of a writ of mandamus, we shall ensure that the People Party is concurrent with the professionalism required to act in this legislature. Should they be found to be discursive, the will incur their own political fate.

Basically, should you continue to be foolish by saying you have done much more when you don't even know what we've done because you refuse to listen (especially the last time we had this argument, you completely ignored me because it was too complex - this was my deduction anyway), we will essentially disregard what you say due to the fact that you cannot get your facts straight.
